The National Resistance Movement Party Presidential Candidate Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has dismissed claims that the party government has neglected Buganda Sub region in its development course.
President Museveni noted that Buganda Sub region has glaring proof of massive development in all spheres from economic to social infrastructural development, wealth and jobs creation through the several government initiatives fostered by the NRM government
While campaigning at Kitebi Primary School Play Grounds in Rubaga Division – Kampala Capital City yesterday evening President Museveni has rallied the electorate of Rubaga Division in Kampala Capital City to support NRM flag bearers at all levels for improved excellent service delivery and improvement in pending development aspects
He challenged residents of Rubaga Division to explore the vast wealth creation opportunities in sectors including skills, artisanship and Manufacturing, services sector and peri agriculture viable in their urban settings.
Candidate Museveni also cautioned the electorate of Rubaga Division in Kampala Capital City against voting for bad leaders who are self centered and biases towards the People’s socioeconomic welfare and has promised to procure land comprised of Nateete Market for market venders therein.
President Museveni noted that the burden of bad opposition leaders affects service delivery because they deliberately neglect following up on government programs and aid corruption.
President Museveni cautionary advise followed a confirmation by the Speaker of Parliament Rt Hon Anita Among’s confirmation that the current MP for Rubaga South constituency Aloysius Mukasa has never debated in Parliament for the last 5 years upon which the NRM presidential candidate General Yoweri Kaguta Museveni advised the electorate to avoid voting for such opportunitic opposition politicians for their area’s good.
Candidate Museveni promised to apprehend suspected thieves of Parish Development Model and socioeconomic empowerment funds destined for the populace and has rallied the people of Rubaga Division in Kampala Capital City to vote for leaders who respect government’s development programs and noted that government is keenly following up the utilisation of welath creation funds with audits.
He advised the people of Rubaga Division to cherish and honor government wealth creation initiatives because they are well intended to elevate everyone out of poverty as demonstrated by the many success stories across.
The First Lady Maama Jannet Kataha Museveni who is also the Minister of Education and Sports told the people of Rubaga Division in Kampala Capital City to embrace unity and consolidate their support for the NRM party for a collective winÂ
The First Lady who accompanied President Museveni noted that the 40 years of the NRM leadership have been guided by the God’s grace to deliver vivid results seen through Uganda’s development and socioeconomic empowerment transformation and has rallied the electorate of Rubaga Division in Kampala Capital City to intensify grassroot mobilisation efforts.
While speaking at the same event, the NRM second National Vice Chairperson female Rt Hon Anita Among listed several development strides made in Rubaga Division by the NRM government and additional development prospects for the area and she rallied for the NRM Party’s support in the forthcoming general elections.
