NEWS- President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni who is also the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces yesterday delivered a lecture of opportunity to Senior Police officers who have been undertaking a senior command course at Bwebajja Police Staff College.
President Museveni lecture centred on the Police’s involvement in social economic transformation through protecting wealth creators, actively participating in productive activities through their saccos, stamping out corruption and continually upholding the values of patriotism and pan-Africanism.
The President congratulated the Police leadership for building the institutions to add value to the knowledge of officers and asked such initiatives to continue because it makes the Police activities visible.
Meanwhile President has congratulated Rwanda President Paul Kagame and the RPF party on the election victory in the recently concluded Rwanda’s national elections.
President Museveni said that the re-election of President Kagame is a testament to the trust and confidence the people of Rwanda have in his leadership and Uganda recognizes Rwanda as a strategic ally with a shared vision of peace and prosperity and looks forward to collaboration with them for the benefit the two nations and the East African Community.
