Museveni arrived in Iganga to address Busoga Region Leaders in style

The NRM Party National Chairman and  Presidential Candidate Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has warned warring NRM leaders factions in Busoga Sub region on the negative impact of their endless bickering to their Party and socioeconomic transformation of their people.

While addressing NRM Leaders today at Iganga District Council, Candidate  Museveni asked leaders in Busoga Sub region to be humble and focused on core leadership interests for their communities if they are to be of any significance.

The President’s comments followed observation of absence of some leaders from the sub region’s Party leaders meeting in Iganga District who included the 1st Deputy Prime Minister Rt Hon Rebecca Alitwala Kadaga and Minister Persis Namugabi 

President Museveni has charged NRM leaders in Busoga Sub region to intensify party campaign mobilisation efforts in their respective villages and Parishes and sensitization of the NRM manifesto ahead of next week’s general election and also cautioned leaders from Districts in Busoga Sub region to desist from sectarian politics of tribes and religions 

President Museveni explained that the NRM politics of unity and patriotism is evidence to the type of leadership Uganda desires to continue with its development and socioeconomic transformation and has advised NRM leaders in Busoga Sub region to stick to the NRM line.

President Museveni has explained the importance of patriotism and Regional integration to NRM leaders in Busoga Sub region and assured the people of the NRM stance on wealth creation through Industrialization including sugar production and socioeconomic empowerment funds like the Parish Development Model and guided the people of Busoga Sub region on effective land utilisation for wealth creation.

The NRM first National Vice Chairperson Alhaji Moses Kigongo rallied NRM leaders in Busoga Sub region to intensify campaign mobilisation accross their Sub region for consolidated win in next week’s polls while the NRM second National Vice Chairperson female Rt Hon Anita Among highlighted several strategic interactions for Busoga Sub region.
