NEWS- The Prime Minister of Uganda Rt Hon Nabbanja Robinah is in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia to participate in the 10th session of the Africa Regional Forum on Sustainable Development.
The Prime Minister who is representing President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni at the Forum was received on arrival at Addis Ababa Bole International Airport last evening by the Uganda’s Ambassador to Ethiopia Ms. Rebecca Otengo.
The forum will run from today 23rd April to 25th April 2024 alongside regional preparatory workshop for African voluntary national and local reviews.
It is organized by the Economic Commission for Africa (ECA) in collaboration with the African Union Commission, the African Development Bank, and various entities in the United Nations system.
The 10th session of the Regional Forum is being conducted under the theme “Reinforcing the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and Agenda 2063 and eradicating poverty in times of multiple crises: the effective delivery of sustainable, resilient and innovative solutions”.
The Forum brings together Presidents, Heads of State and Government, ministers and other high-level policymakers and experts from governments, intergovernmental organizations, the private sector, civil society organizations, major groups, and international development partners.
