Bushenyi RDC Emmy Ngabirano at Kasoroza COU

RUKUNGIRI- Parents have been urged to educate their children in a manner that contributes to the growth and development of the church, helping nurture future leaders who can positively impact their communities.

This call was made by Bushenyi Resident District Commissioner (RDC) Emmy Ngabirano, who represented the guest of honor, Moses Turyatemba Mabale, during a fundraising event to support the construction of a new church building at St. Paul’s Kasoroza Church of Uganda in Nyakagyeme Archdeaconry, Nyakagyeme Sub-county in Rukungiri District.

Ngabirano stressed that education is not solely the responsibility of government-aided schools, but rather a collective effort involving the government, head teachers, and the community.

He highlighted the importance of instilling faith and values in children through education to build a strong foundation for the church’s future.

He also reminded the public that although Uganda is currently in a political season, politics should not divide communities.

He emphasized unity and tolerance, encouraging people to maintain strong relationships and avoid letting political differences create conflict. To support the church construction, Ngabirano personally contributed 100 bags of cement.

Over 300 bags of cement were collected to support the cause.
