NEWS– Leaders elect of the National Resistance Movement party structure have been challenged to actively serve the people and fully seek support for their party if it is to succeed in the forthcoming general elections.
The remarks were on 6th May 2025 made by the Rubabo NRM flag bearer hopeful Hon. Mujuni Lawrence Mpitsi Singa after his unopposed election as the NRM party main stream chairperson for Rugoma cell, Kacence Parish Nyakishenyi Sun county in Rukungiri district.
While addressing NRM structure leaders elect and voters, Hon. Mujuni Lawrence Mpitsi Singa noted that many party committees have always been dormant and only functional during elections thus challenging selected leaders to work hard and change the narrative.
Mpitsi pledged his readiness and commitment to fully mobilise support for the NRM party from the ground and called upon other leaders elect to hit the ground and fully focus on party activities.
The energetic and determined Mpitsi rallied NRM voters in Rugoma cell and Kacence Parish at large to start up associations and village SACCOs to empower them financially showing his readiness to fully support them.
He called for oneness, cooperation in the forthcoming elections and also urged parents to embrace education by providing scholastic materials to their children saying that education is the key to a bright future.
Vastine Sanyu, Kemigisha Budesiano, Peninah and other NRM members in Kacence Parish confirmed a successful and peaceful election process and also fronted Hon. Lawrence Mujuni Mpitsi for the Nyakishenyi Sub County NRM seat citing his will for development in the area and pledged full support behind his back.
In his response, Mujuni Lawrence Mpitsi Singa appreciated the trust, confidence people have put in him but showed his stickiness and royalness to the Rubabo constituency MP seat.
