Rubanda District authorities have pledged to deliver 100% support for President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, with security committed to ensuring a smooth election.
The meeting, facilitated by Colonel Emmy Katabazi, brought together the district security team, NRM chairpersons from all levels, women and youth leaders, and district executive members at the Rubanda Skilling Center in Ikumba Sub-County, Rubanda West.
Addressing the gathering, Colonel Katabazi vowed to work tirelessly to secure 100% votes for President Museveni, describing him as the defender of Uganda’s revolution.
He highlighted the president’s role in restoring peace and democracy, contrasting it with previous regimes that exploited the country.
Kesaphari Prossy, the district vice chairperson, expressed determination to surpass the previous 85% vote share*, aiming for 100% in recognition of President Museveni’s contributions to Rubanda District and Uganda as a whole.
The district speaker, Tushemerirwe Jane Mary, echoed Colonel Katabazi’s sentiments, calling for a landslide victory for the president.
Rubanda district assistant RDC Hilary Bindeba pledged security for the people.
