NEWS– The Police in Rubanda District are hunting for a man identified as Silverio a resident of Karengyere village in Muko Subcounty who is alleged to have killed his wife Grace Brenda Kibibi.
Kigezi Regional Police Spokesman ASP Elly Maate told journalists that the case was on Thursday reported by the LC chaiperson Kwizera Katasha who said that the it occurred along the way from the bar at Karengyere Trading Center for unknown reasons.
The Chairman informed the Police at Muko Police Station for further management and the scene was visited, documented, body had wound cuts on the head, relevant witness statements were recorded, postmortem examination done and the body handed over to relatives for burial.
The case was registered at Rubanda Central Police Station under reference number CRB 042/2024 to help in investigations as the suspect is still on the run.
