In a heartwarming act of generosity, Ms. Doreen Komujuni, the Patriotic League of Uganda (PLU) Coordinator for Rukungiri District, has donated a wheelchair to a disabled boy in Bwambara Sub County. This donation is aimed at improving the boy’s mobility and quality of life.

The wheelchair was presented to the boy and his family amidst celebrations at Omukabaho TC, located in Bwambara parish, Rukungiri District. The donation event was attended by prominent figures, including **Maj Gen Jim Muhwezi Katugugu, the area Member of Parliament and Minister of Security, who was canvassing support to retain his political position.

Ms. Komujuni expressed her deep compassion for the boy’s challenging circumstances, noting the difficulties he faced in mobility and the strain it placed on his parents.

The boy’s mother, identified only as Charity, expressed heartfelt gratitude for the donation, praising Komujuni and CDF Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba, the PLU National Chairman. She remarked that this gesture was the relief their family had long yearned for.

Charity also commended Minister Muhwezi for his efforts to gather influential leaders like Doreen Komujuni, who extend a helping hand to families in need. She vowed to support both Minister Muhwezi and President Yoweri Museveni in their endeavors for continued development in the region.

This philanthropic act underscores the importance of community support and the impact it can have on the lives of those facing challenges.

Komujuni used the same platform to rally support for President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, Gen Jim Muhwezi and all NRM Candidates urging the populace in Rukungiri and Uganda as a whole to support the NRM Government by voting on 15th January 2025 to protect the gains promising that such donations would keep coming.
