NEWS- Authorities and students at St. Jerome Secondary School Ndama in Kebisoni Sub County, Rukungiri district are mourning the death of one of their student Desire Akakunda.
Akankunda who was in form four succumbed to heart disease, weeks to sitting her final examination in October.
According to school authorities, Akakunda fainted while in class and as they were rushing her to Nyakibale hospital on Sunday, September 22nd 2024 she died along the way.
She has been struggling with a heart disease for almost four years they have been with her in O’level and she was left with a few days to sit for her final exams.
The deceased is a resident of Garubunda parish Kebisoni sub- County in Rukungiri district.
