NEWS– Parents and learners of Ryamabengwa Primary School in Central Division, Bushenyi Municipality are up in skys after receiving news of the great perfomance for their learners who sat for 2023 Primary Leaving Examinations.

Ryamabengwa Primary School is a catholic founded and government aided with original name St Francis Primary School found in Ryamabengwa cell, Ryamabengwa ward Central Division Bushenyi – Ishaka Municipality.

Way back, Ryamabengwa Primary School was among the poor performers until the recent years since they appointed Nkahikayo Silver as Headmaster, a move that has seen them change the trend to best performers.

For the year 2023, 38 pupils sat for PLE and 32 passed in Division One with only 6 in Division Two and 2 learners who topped the perfomance had 7 aggregates each.

This publication visited the school and met Nkahikayo Silver who congratulated the learners as well as parents and thanked God who has been on their side to make the school perform well always. Nkahikayo thanked parents for providing scholastic materials to their learners and appreciated the management committees for maintaining financial and social stability in the school.

Being in Municipality, Ryamabengwa Primary School joins other schools like Bweranyangi Junior School, Ishaka Junior School, Parental Care Primary School, Pearl Academy, St Kagwa Primary School and Ishaka Preparatory which  also made the Municipality to top remain as light in the district for its best perfomance.

It should be noted that Bushenyi – Ishaka Municipality has always been one of the best PLE Perfomers in the country and this year it had registered 1,503  candidates, 759 passed in Div I making 50.5%, 645 in Div II, 58 in Div III , 15 in Div IV , 14 were Ungraded and 12 did not sit for the examination.
