NEWS- Residents of Nyabuhike B in Kyenzige Sub-County Kagadi district were on Monday morning treated with grief and shock after recovering the body of the 15 year old teenager dumped along the roadside.
The deceased has been identified as Denis Kunihira a resident of Nyabuhike A in Nyabuhike Parish Kyenzige Sub-County. John Turihamu the Local council one chairperson of Nyabuhike B said the deceased has been an alcohol addict, also abusing other drugs suspecting much consumption to have caused his tragic death.
Turihamu asked the youths to desist from alcoholism and drugs and challenged parents to educate their children to avoid similar incidents.

However the residents confided to our reporter that they last saw the victim on Sunday evening, also describing him as a good resident.

Meanwhile the chairperson of Kyenzige Sub-County Francis Byamukama asked the youths to stop abusing alcohol and live a responsible lifestyle for a healthy living.

By press time, a postmortem report had confirmed that the deceased succumbed to excessive consumption of alcohol and drug abuse. The deceased’s body was later handed over to the relatives for burial.
In a related development, the Police in Kabamba Sub-County in Kagadi district have started investigating circumstances under which a man in his 50’s was gruesomely murdered by his relatives. The deceased has been identified as Francis Agaba Baramira, a resident of Kinaga village in Kabamba Sub-County.
David Nsenga, the Local council one chairperson for Kinaga said the deceased was murdered in cold blood at around midnight. The suspects are Robert Twikirize, his son only Erisa, another accused also identified as Erisa and Mugisa all residents of Kabamba Sub-County.
Nsenga said the suspects are still at large after they are said to have used the vehicle to disappear from the scene after trailing on it stressing that the vehicle was later impounded and now packed at Kikwaya Police post in Kakumiro district.
Nsenga noted that murder cases have become rampant in his area, adding that recently, his defense secretary was also killed in the same way.

The Kabamba Sub-County chairperson Augustine Kacimbiri said the murder resulted in an unsettled loan which the deceased demanded from one of the assailants.
Kacimbiri asked residents to enhance their personal security and educate children to avoid fights for family properties which have increased domestic violence cases and murders in his area.
