NEWS- South Rwenzori Diocese has confirmed that it will compete with other Diocese in the ongoing Mothers Union Music dance and drama competitions at the regional level that is scheduled for August 29th -30th at South Ankole Diocese.
The confirmation was on Wednesday afternoon made by the South Rwenzori Diocesan Secretary Rev. Canon Nelson Walina while officially flagging office a team of over fifty members that will represent the Diocese.
The Diocesan secretary who hailed the participants for their cooperation, unity and coordination, quoted that the competitions were also a way of preaching the word of God through Music dance and drama.
He advised them to observe discipline, smartness and being time managers if they are to excel.
Rev. William Muhindo Musisi, the Diocesan Evangelism coordinator, who is part of the team that has left for the Ministry, noted that they are more than fifteen Dioceses that are in the regional stages.
Rev. Betty Mbambu Mweru the Diocesan worker noted that in competitions like this one, it would expose the mothers to adopt and acquire more skills from other participants.
The team which would emerge as the best would go to the Anglican province for the provincial competitions.
