KAMPALA- The NRM Director of Mobilisation, Hon Rosemary Seninde has called on residents who will participate in the Kawempe North by-election to maintain peace and calmness during and after polls.
“You have been peaceful since campaigns began and I ask you to continue observing peace and unity until our Candidate Faridah Nambi is voted to Parliament,” Seninde said.
Hon Sseninde said this yesterday in Mpererwe where she accompanied the National Resistance Movement candidate Hajjati Nambi on her campaign trail.
She also cautioned opponents and their supporters against electoral indiscipline and violence saying the acts scare away voters from choosing candidates of their choice.
“Government has provided enough security to all camps to meet and interact with the voters peacefully,” Seninde said as she discouraged any camp from hiring gangs for security.
Hajjati Faridah Nambi’s Campaign trail has today March 6th 2025 headed to Kawempe II Ward where she is expected to address several rallies as she interacts with Voters.
