BWERA – KASESE:  The Territorial Police at Bwera Division in Kasese District are holding three suspects masquerading to be military officials attached to State House – Entebbe.

The arrested individuals are Byabagambi Godwin 42 year old Munyankole Resident of Milo 1, Mbarara City North Division, Twesigye Richard 48 year old resident of Nyaruhanga Cell, Ruhaama Parish, Ruhaama Sub-county in Ntungamo District and Baluku Isaac 47 year old resident of Kabuyiri I, Cell, Mpondwe Town Council in -Kasese District.

The trio was arrested at Bwera Police Station at the orders of Kasese District Police Commander SP Tai Ramadan after they failed to properly prove that they work with State House.

The Motor vehicle Reg No. UBK 573 D was also impounded and upon search, a sharp knife was recovered, stamps of different Companies were also recovered.

A charge of Impersonation has been preferred against these individuals and if the file is sanctioned, they will be arraigned in Court according to SP Nelson Tumushime, the area regional Police spokesman.

Police is calling upon our members of the public who could have experienced or have been affected by actions of these suspects to reach to authorities at the nearest Police Stations to furnish them with information that will lead to their prosecution.
