KASESE- Students at High institutions of learning in Kasese District have been asked to have positive financial discipline especially those who are in entrepreneurship if they are to prosper economically.
The economic advice was sounded by Godfrey Babutirwaki a motivational speaker while talking to students of Rwenzori Vocational College in a career guidance that was held at their study center in Kathasenda village in Munkunyu sub county of Bukonzo East.
According to Mr. Babutirwaki, students and youth in entrepreneurship should seriously avoid spending extravagantly since it may affect their economic life.
He noted that some of the things that lead the youth to be financially indisciplined as early relationships, drug abuse among others.
Ms. Gomeri Nziabake the college programs coordinator reported that the Germany government had given funds to the school to implement the project code named as skills training for all which accommodate both formal and none formal to train in different inter premiership skills including shoe making, tailoring and Bakery among others.
Ms. Mary wayi that the area LCI secretary who represented the chairperson who hailed the college for the initiative of training the youth especially the young mothers and fathers adding that the program would solve unemployment among the youth when they complete their studies.
Some of the students who give some testimonies about the project hailed the school administration for establishing such a helping project.
