Hon. Kabugho who was the chief guest at the function noted that it was through education that would address challenges of poverty in families and the community at large a reason to why she asked parents to always play their roles of paying school dues, provide scholastics and also food to the learners.

To support the school, Hon. Kabugho contributed two million shillings and called upon other leaders to support the school, avoid politicizing it but work towards its progress since it was going to answer their education questions in the area.

In his remarks, Mr. Emmy Muhindo Kitsama the Rukoki sub-county LCIII chairperson noted that their sub-county which was created in 1935 which is now 71years old was lagging behind in terms of education because of lacking a secondary school but now they are happy that government has answered their long waited questions.

However Mr. Joseph Kule the sub-county District councilor noted that Rukoki sub-county was also having other challenges of poor roads which according to him hinder the development of the area since the transport system that would facilitate the business is totally affected negatively.

Over six million shillings was raised in the fund drive for the school.
