The joint security forces in Kampala have cordoned off a scene of a bomb blast in Munyonyo near the Uganda Martyrs Basilica Shrine.
Emerging reports suggest that the suspected explosion in Munyonyo, a suburb of Kampala has killed at least two people.
Eye witness said that a boda boda and his female passenger were blown up by the bomb blast.
No official confirmation from the Uganda Police or government authorities regarding the reported explosion and our covert reporter will closely monitor the situation and will provide updates as more information becomes available.
Meanwhile the UPDF Acting Spokesman Col Chris Magezi has said that the UPDF counter terrorism unit intercepted and neutralised two armed terrorists in Munyonyo.
