NEWS- The Uganda People’s defense forces and the Ministry of Defense have been thrown into fresh mourning days after sending off one of the line ministers.
The fresh tears are now for the loss of two top Generals who are said to have perished in a nasty accident along the Masaka road.
The duo according to the Ministry of Defense’s Deputy Spokesman Col Deo Akiiki is Brig Gen (rtd) Kyambadde and the forces Director of training and Doctrine for Land forces Brig Gen Fred Twinamasiko
“How are we expected to understand this loss in such a short time?? A minister of state (Defence) Hon Sarah Mateke, Brig Gen (rtd) Kyambadde and our Director training and Doctrine for Land forces Brig Gen Fred Twinamasiko in accident!! All gone just like that” Akiiki posted on his X.
He added that “May the Lord strengthen their families. It is a difficult moment. MHSRP”.
Akiiki however did not account for the occurrence of the accident, but we promise to keep you posted with any development as per this publication.
It should be remembered that in the same Ministry on Saturday last week, the Minister of State in Charge of Veteran affairs and the Kisoro Woman Member of Parliament Hon. Sarah Mateke Nyirabashitsi was also pronounced dead after a short illness.
