Dr Johnson Byabasheija exchange pleasantries with Acting CEO of Uganda Baati Amon Ariho

KAMPALA- The Uganda Baati Limited which a member of the Safal Group, has marked its 60th anniversary of building Uganda with a courtesy visit to Commissioner General of Prisons, Can Dr Johnson Byabasheija at the Uganda Prisons Headquarters in Kampala.

The Uganda Baati delegation was led by Amon Aruho, Acting Chief Executive Officer Amon Ariho and included the Head of External and Corporate Affairs Ian Rumanyika, the Head of Service Center Patrick Katende the Head of Sales Modi Kopin and Komakech Alfred, the Manager of Corporate Sales.

The Uganda Prisons Service was also represented by the Deputy Director Production and Engineering Wilson Magomu, the Deputy Director Corporation and Corporate Affairs and Prisons Service Spokesperson Frank Baine and Eng Hannington Nsubuga the Commandant, Prisons Engineering Gang.

Uganda Baati Chief Executive Officer Aruho emphasized the company’s commitment to partnerships through corporate social responsibility initiatives and praising Uganda Prisons Services as a professional and reliable agency. 

Ariho noted Uganda Baati’s alignment with Uganda Prisons Service values and vision as a key reason for the visit.

In his remarks, Dr Byabashaija thanked Uganda Baati for its support of the Buy Uganda Build Uganda (BUBU) presidential directive, highlighting its contribution to national development.

Dr Byabasheija said that the visit signifies a promising avenue for collaboration between Uganda Baati and the Uganda Prisons Service, merging Uganda Baati’s legacy in manufacturing with UPS’s role in socio-economic transformation of Uganda .
