As Western Ugandan music continues to thrive, a rising star is making waves with passion and talent. AKATWIJUKA CHRISTMAS, known as BISIM, is a versatile artist, singer, songwriter, and live performer hailing from Mbarara.

Musical Background
Q: Can you share with us your musical background and how you got started?
A: My music career began at the age of 13 when I spent time in a local music studio. I recorded demo songs for my friends, and it brought me joy to see them enjoy my music.
Recent Projects
Q: Any recent project so far?
A: Yes! My latest release is a collaboration with the talented AGABA BANJO, titled *NINKWENDA*. Produced by Instramento, it’s a heartfelt love song filled with deep emotions and longing. We’ve released the audio, and the video is coming soon.

Q: Where do you see the future of Uganda’s music industry?
A: I believe the future is bright! With the rise of social media platforms like WhatsApp, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube, our music industry is poised to gain global recognition. Globalization and new technologies also play a crucial role in sharing our music worldwide.
