KANUNGU- The Bishop of the Diocese of Kinkizi Rt Rev Dan Zoreka on Monday launched the “Up Lift Batwa Talents project” which is under Batwa Development program in the Diocese of Kinkizi in Kanungu District.
The project will benefit 500 Batwa youth, equipping them with different skills for self-reliance and this program is being supported by the Kellerman Foundation based in USA.
Bishop Zoreka hailed the Kellerman Foundation for supporting the Batwa Development Program which has come forward to support the Batwa to realize their potential by developing their talents which will contribute to national development.
The Batwa Development Program continues to help the Batwa families and support them through spiritual growth, health services, education, land acquisition, agriculture and home building.
During the event the group of the Batwa under Batwa Development Program used their God given talents to entertain visitors as they launched the ‘Uplift Batwa Talents Project’ at Kitariro Mama Dainestanton Primary School in Kirima Sub county in Kanungu District.
