James Musinguzi Garuga

Kanungu District and the entire country have been thrown into mourning following the death of businessman James Musinguzi Garuga who passed away today morning at Nakasero hospital in Kampala.

A family source who did not want to be identified confirmed that that Garuga as he was well known has been in hospital for weeks battling a disease he did not disclose.

The late Garuga has been described as a man of diligence, generosity, and unwavering commitment to the work of God, and has run his race with honour and served his generation with vigour and purpose.

Many Ugandans have since taken to social media to condole with the family of Garuga who owned a string of businesses across the country that included farming, manufacturing, transport, Tourism and Hotel Management among many others and they said that he was a trusted business mentor.

While euloging him, the Bishop of the Diocese of Kinkiizi Rt Rev Dan Zoreka said that Dr Garuga’s life was a testimony of faith in action and said that his life is memory that will continue to stir us toward love, service and godly living.
