Kanungu District NRM Registrar Alex Kamukama has released the final list of the party leaders who were on Friday May 23rd elected on the Mainstream and other Organs.
Kamukama disclosed that the Mainstream NRM committee is chaired by Tumwesiimire Caleb Kipande and the Vice Chairperson is former District Woman Member of Parliament Hon Elizabeth Karungi from Butogota Town Council, the General Secretary is Byaruhanga Frank from Mpungu Sub-county, the Secretary for Finance is Ms Biryomumisho Rehema while the Secretary for Publicity is Godfrey Akampurira Wa Akampa.
According to Kamukama, the Elders League will be chaired by Mrs Jackline Mbabazi, the Vice Chairperson is Hon Peggy Joy Waako, the General Secretary is Tusimukye Justus, the Secretary for Finance is Banobi Herbert and the Secretary for Publicity is Munyakazi Richard.
The People With Disability is Chaired by Karanda Fulegence Karafe, the Vice Chairperson is Tibasiima Nobert, the Gen Secretary is Turamyeomwe Martina, the Secretary for Finance is Mrs Mariam Kiconco Kawere Mariam and the Publicity Secretary is Ampumuza Anita.
The Womens League Chairperson became Canon Kasya Josephine, the Vice Chairperson is Karungi Ruth Tukahirwa, the General Secretary is Niwamanya Evelyn, the Secretary for Finance is Betty Kanata annd the Secretary for Publicity is Bahati Juliet.
The Youth League Chairperson is Anyijuka Arnold while the, Vice Chairperson is Kebirungi Hellen, the Gen Secretary is Tumukunde Jonan, the Secretary for Finance is Adriana Tumwine and the Secretary for Publicity is Niwahereza Abias.
The Chairperson for Historicals is former Resident District Commissioner Mugisha Peter, the Vice Chairperson is Rugomwa Ally, the Secretary General is Kataaba Jacenta and the Secretary for Finance is Canon Kabyesiza George and the Secretary for Publicity is Nzigira Abdullah.
The Registrar announced Asiimwe Wilberfoce as new Chairperson, and the Vice Chairperson is Ms Kyarisiima Evelyn the General Secretary is Kafanta Martin, the Secretary for Finance is Nyesigire Evelyn while the Secretary for Publicity is Katimuntu Richard.
The Entrepreneurs League is Chaired by Happy Mbabazi, the Vice Chairperson is Kenyangi Doreen, the Gen Secretary is Ampumuza Alex, the Secretary for Finance is Kanungu District Chairman Eng Arinaitwe Sam Kajojo and the Publicity Secretary is Turyamureeba Nice.
Registrar Kamukama also announced, retired Police Officer Nyaruye Ndungutse as the Veterans League Chairperson while Rutazana Silver became the Vice Chairperson and the General Secretary is Arineitwe Saulo, the Secretary for Finance is Turyatunga Deo while the Secretary for Publicity is Beyongyera Bernard.
