Hon Henry Musasizi

The Minister of State for Finance Planning and Economic in Charge of General Duties Hon Henry Musasizi has congratulated the newly appointed Rubanda District Service Commission and commended the work done by Outgoing Team led by Dr Narcis Kabatereine

Minister Musasizi was November 10th 2025, speaking at the swearing of the new Rubanda District Service Commission is headed by Beda Turinomihangi as the Chairperson and others members are Peter Buregyeya, Ms Goretti Kobusingye, Aggrey Tumwesigye and Ms Beatrice Tumushabe.

Hon Musasizi cautioned the members of District Service Commission against engaging in antagonistic politics saying that human beings may have political interests, which shouldn’t be reflected in doing their jobs as expected. 

Minister Musasizi asked the New Members to highly observe the Code of ethics in their line of duty and emphasized the need to respect the vows that they made while sewearing in, by keeping a high level of secrecy.

He challenged the new District Service Commission members to serve without discrimination, compromise, fear or favour. 

“We want a Rubanda where everyone can come with confidence. Where even  even those less advantaged can come and compete with others for available jobs,” Minister Musasizi emphasized. 

Minister Musasizi asked people of Rubanda to support and promote politics of ideological interest rather than focusing on minor issues such as sentiments, and politics of identity which will drail development in the area.

“In Rubanda we should all have one common interest, and that’s to see this District progressing to greater heights of development each time there’s an opportunity to do so,” He said.

He also sconned at his opponents whose only argument is that he has been in Parliament for long and asked if these people have nit realised fundamental change in the District since he became a Government Minister.

“How sure are you that if you voted in someone else, he would become a Minister right away”? Minister Musasizi asked.

Minister Musaszi also referenced Rubanda District Chairman Ampeire Stephen Kasyaba’s leadership explaining that it would be to the loss of the people of Rubanda if Kasyaba was nolonger the District Chairman.

While speaking at the same event, Stephen Kasyaba who appointed the District Service Commission explained that all the new Members of District Service Commission were carefully chosen and the majority have a teaching background.
