President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni yesterday February 23rd 2026, hosted visitors from the United Kingdom and India who are exploring a tripartite arrangement linking Asia, Europe and Africa through Uganda.
President Museveni told his guests that the correct line for prosperity comes from linking producers to consumers and Africa, because of its strategic position and growth potential, is the place of the future.
He said that Africa will play its part, by putting in place the fundamentals of security, market, labour and raw materials and if this is understood by serious planners, global affluence is achievable with Africa as a big business centre.
President Museveni therefore said that he is encouraged that the development partners from Europe and Asia can now come to Africa to explore on how to add value to the raw materials and expand the markets instead of exporting the raw materisls.
