NEWS– The Kasese District women council league chairperson Ms. Angela Birungi has asked parents to play their roles responsibly especially in parenting in order to have well natured children.
According to Birungi, parents have a bigger role to play including paying school fees, providing feedings, and clothes among others.
She made the remarks yesterday while addressing the women council at the Kasese District offices in Rukooki.
She says parents also have a role to teach their children culture and discipline.
Mr. William Bwambale the District Community Development officer, noted that it’s a role of a parent to nature their children morals and spiritual upright.
Mr. Girivazio Monday the Kasese District Secretary for social services quoted the parents especially men to have time for their families.
However he noted that in parenting the District was still having a challenge of incest which is on increase and needs attention to address it.
