NEWS- Uganda’s Speaker Of Parliament Rt Hon Anita Among has arrived at the Vatican in Rome to meet His Holiness Pope Francis.
According to the Vatican Secretariat, the Rt Hon Speaker Anita Among was granted a private audience with His Holiness Pope Francis Saturday afternoon at the Vatican.
Following this meeting, she met with His Grace, the Secretary of State of the Vatican, His Eminence Pietro Parolin to discuss ways to strengthen bilateral relations between the two States.
The Speaker is accompanied by the Minister of State for Finance in Charge of General Duties Hon Henry Musasizi Aliganyira who is also the Member of Parliament for Rubanda East among many others.
