KAMPALA- The police at Kira road police is holding 22 known criminals who have been terrorizing the area.
The police has revealed that the detained were arrested on 11th September 2024 at about 11:00am during the operation conducted by Kira Road Police involving local leaders from Mulimira Lower in Kamwokya, Central Division, Kampala City.
According to police, the objective of the operation was to apprehend a list of identified criminals who were causing disturbances in the Kira Road Police Area, particularly around the Northern Bypass Road and Mulimira area.
The public expressed their appreciation for the police efforts and called for more targeted operations in the area to strengthen security.
