The hearing of an application seeking permission to recover and inspect election materials arising from the January 15th presidential election is set to resume today before the Supreme Court at 10am.
Court is also expected to complete scheduling and give directions on the hearing of the main presidential election petition.
The application was filed by National Peasants Party former presidential candidate Robert Kasibante, who is challenging the re-election of President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni.

Through his lawyers, Julius Galisonga and John Isabirye, Kasibante is seeking court permission to recover, inspect, and subject election materials to forensic analysis.
He wants access to several Electoral Commission documents and electronic systems, which he says are critical to his petition.
Kasibante is asking court to order the Electoral Commission to produce a complete list of all polling stations used during the election, along with certified Declaration of Results forms from every polling station.
He is also seeking access to the Biometric Voter Verification System, the Electronic Results Transmission and Dissemination System, and the tallying system used at the National Tally Centre in Lubowa, to enable a forensic audit.
In his supporting affidavit, Kasibante argues that the materials will help verify voter identification, polling procedures, vote counting, tallying, and the integrity of the results transmission process.
President Museveni, who is listed as a respondent, is represented by lawyers Ebert Byenkya, Edward Karugire and others.
The Supreme Court panel hearing the matter is led by Chief Justice Flavian Zeija and includes Justices Mike Chibita, Percy Night Tuhaise, Christopher Madrama, Elizabeth Musoke, Stephen Musota, Catherine Bamugemereire, Monica Mugenyi, and Muzamir Kibedi.
Court is expected to hear the application and issue further directions later today.
