Reopen schools for candidate classes! School Directors, Headteachers beg government

Primary Seven candidates have been urged to prioritize God and seek for his guidance as they sit for their Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE) exams.

According to the PLE timetable, all examination centers will conduct candidate briefings on Friday, 31st October, starting at 9:00 a.m. The examinations will then begin on Monday, 3rd November, with Mathematics in the morning and Social Studies and Religious Education in the afternoon.

On Tuesday, 4th November, candidates will sit for Integrated Science in the morning and English in the afternoon, marking the end of the exams.

Ahead of the exams, Kagadi vicariate organized a dedication mass for all the candidates at Kagadi St,Mary’s catholic parish this morning seeking for spiritual and emotional support before the national exams.

Leading the mass, the Episcopal Vicar Kagadi vicariate Msgr. Peter Kabelenge prayed for the candidates’ success asking God to bless them with wisdom and memorize all academic concepts during the examination period.

He also asked candidates to maintain discipline and abide by the examination rules and regulations to produce better results.

The guest speaker at the ceremony Emmanuel Mukiza, the head of laity Kagadi vicariate who is also the head teacher Kitegwa Community SS Ruteete congratulated candidates and inspired them to remain focused to achieve academic excellence.

He lauded parents and teachers for the combined effort in supporting the education of the children.
