The Prime Minister Rt Hon Robinah Nabbanja opened the first joint Regional Development Programme Annual Review workshop at Speke Resort, Munyonyo, Kampala.
The Regional Development Programme was one of the key programmes under the Third National Development Plan, and has been retained as part of the Fourth National Development Plan.
The ongoing review covers the past five years of the implementation of the Regional Development Programme under the Third National Development Plan.
The Prime Minister said that the review presents an opportunity to assess progress towards achieving equitable growth and sustainable development across Uganda’s diverse regions.
