Bishop Ahimbisibwe said fear of God is the beginning of wisdom saying that the Team will continue producing wonderful people since they have put God amidst them.

Reading from the book of Deuteronomy 28:13 that you will be the head not the tail, Bishop Ahimbisibwe said that he cannot doubt that Team University will always be ahead with her staff and students.

“When your head is upright you can do wonders even if you don’t have legs or arms, because most of the important parts of a person that include the eye, ear, nose, mouth, brain and teeth are on the head,” he said.

Rev. Moses Ahimbisibwe was installed as first Chaplain of the University.

Bishop Ahimbisibwe said it is not easy to lead mature students spiritually but with guidance of God everything will be possible.

He said that he came on invitation of one of the directors who is also head of laity in one of the archdeconaries in South Ankole diocese, Sam Rugaba to come and bless the installation of their first chaplain which he could not deny.

“We act on behalf of God and when people of God want blessing there is no reason why we cannot go and bless them. Now this University has got an everlasting blessing from me and the one I bless to lead it spiritually,” he said.

Sam Rugaba said they organised this thanks giving ceremony to thank God as they celebrate Organic growth and Public good will exhibited at the Univerversity since it was born in 2002 as accounts institution

He said it has since grown from institute, College to University offering variety of courses.

He said that they have launched Chaplaincy with Protestant faith but as law requires all other denominations that include  Moslems, Catholics and pentecostals will all have their leaders as well.
