Michael Toyota, vice chairperson of the Patriotic League of Uganda (PLU), explained that the meeting was aimed at resolving the potential conflict between the two NRM supporters.

“As brothers, we agreed to support Hon. Enos in the 2026 elections, while Seith prepares for 2031,” he said.

Hon. Enos Asiimwe expressed gratitude towards Seith for his patriotism and willingness to concede.

“We are fighting for similar issues in Kabula, and I didn’t want to compete against my brother,” he said.

Seith, who has been actively involved in Kabula’s development, including the construction of schools and churches and sports pledged his support for Hon. Asiimwe Enos and vowed to continue working for the county’s progress.

The move is seen as a unity boost for NRM in Kabula ahead of the 2026 elections.
