The Ministry of Health has kicked off a three-day Performance Review Meeting on the implementation of the Ministry and Central Level Institutions’ work plans for the 3rd and 4th Quarters of Financial Year 2025/2026.
The review brings together Ministry leadership, heads of departments, and technical teams to assess progress, identify implementation gaps, share lessons, and strengthen service delivery across the health sector.

The review meeting which ends tomorrow was officially opened by the Minister of Health, Hon Dr Chris Baryomunsi who asked them to assess progress, identify implementation gaps, share lessons, and strengthen service delivery across the health sector.
While delivering her keynote, the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry Dr Diana Atwine urged participants to embrace the review as an opportunity for honest reflection, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Dr Atwine noted that a strong health system is built through accountability, teamwork and a commitment to learning and asked the participants to use the review to celebrate the achievements, address our gaps, and renew resolve to deliver quality, people-centred healthcare for every Ugandan.
