NEWS: Ntungamo municipality based Western Uganda ‘s academic giants Mother Care Primary school has once again posted a stellar performance in Primary Leaving Examinations.
According to the 2025 results released by Uganda National Examinations Board on Friday 30th January2026, Mother Care Primary school- Ntungamo registered 91 pupils in first grade and 12 pupils in Division two of the total 103 that sat for the examinations.
The school posted six candidates with aggregate five, 16 had aggregate 6, 10 had aggregate 7 while 22 candidates had aggregate 8.
The best candidates included Kamwesigye Allan, Kakama Ignitious, Ainomugisha Viola, Gumisiriza Gordon and Nagaba Princess all with
aggregate 5.
Mr. Deus Pendence Bukenya, the Mother Care Primary school Head teacher extended his heartfelt congratulations to the PLE 2025 candidates for their outstanding performance stating that their discipline, resilience, and hard work have borne excellent results, and “we are immensely proud of you”.
Bukenya commended the dedicated teachers for their professionalism, commitment, and tireless guidance, which he says have greatly contributed to this success.
“To our parents and guardians, thank you for your unwavering support, cooperation, and trust in Mother Care Primary School.
This achievement is a true reflection of teamwork among learners, teachers, parents, and management” he added.
Mr. John Tumuhimbise, the Mother Care Primary school Director expressed pride in the school’s stellar impressive results over the past years and pledged to keep the candle burning so that the school remains the best not only in the district and region but also at the National scene.
On 31st January 2026, the learners, teachers, parents and well-wishers of mother Care Primary school took the Ntungamo town streets to jubilate and celebrate the impressive performance of 2025 PLE as released by UNEB
