KAMPALA- The patriotic League of Uganda has demanded the National Unity platform president Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu to retract his abusive attacks on their league’s chairperson, General Muhoozi Kainerugaba. This is in relation to the comments he made about the first son while at a rally in Soroti City last week.
Kyagulanyi is alleged to have uttered abusive statements against President Yoweri Museveni and PLU leader General Muhoozi Kainerugaba, that Muhoozi and his father regard Ugandans as slaves.
Addressing the media at PLU offices in Ntinda, the league’s Director in charge of mobilization Micheal Mawanda said that it’s untrue that their chairman Keinerugaba sees people of Teso and Uganda as slaves as alleged by Kyagulanyi .
Mawanda said that Kainerugaba has been a hard working person in his entire life and various capacities, hence cannot think that way.
He asked the NUP president to find other ways of soliciting for his support rather than concentrating his energies on people who, out of their sacrifices, liberated the country and stabilized it both economically and politically.

Mawanda also demands Kyagulanyi to apologize to both the president and General Muhoozi Kainerugaba, stressing that both mean a lot for the country and all Ugandans.
