NTUNGAMO- President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni’s Private secretary Ms. Caroline Kembabazi Kamabaare has urged graduates to be proud of their success and embrace government programs for sustainable development.
Ms. Kembabazi made the appeal on Friday March 14th 2025 while presiding over the first over graduation ceremony of Modern institute of Business and vocational studies Ntungamo held at its premises Ntungamo Municipality.
She congratulated the graduates for marking a significant milestone but called upon to aim higher for greater horizons.
Ms. Kembabazi hailed the initiators of Modern institute of Business and vocational studies Ntungamo for supplementing government efforts to create job employment and skills among the young generation.
During the same function, the Ntungamo Municipality MP Hon Yonah Musinguzi challenged graduates to look beyond just earning a certificate or a degree that comes with acquiring knowledge but also develop skills and wisdom to think critically, innovate and contribute meaningfully to global development.
The city businessman Tukahirwa James Byenjeru aka Hunter reminded the graduates to be motivated by the sacrifices made by parents and guardians to finance their education.
The Director Kanyesigye Wilson in company of his wife Atwijukire Christine urged the graduates to apply the knowledge, practical and values they have acquired for self-development, community transformation and the nation at large.
Kanyesigye thanked his guests led by the chief guest Carolyn Kembabazi Kamabaare for not letting him, his staff, students, parents, family, media fraternity and well-wishers of the institution.
The principal of the institution Peninah Taremwa Tigooma called on the graduates to be ambassadors of the Modern Institute of Business and Vocational studies.
A total of 83 students graduated with certificates and diplomas in different courses, 46are female and 37 male.
Modern Institute of Business and Vocational Studies is located along Kabale Mbarara road near Mogas Petrol Station in Ntungamo Municipality Ntungamo district.
The function was also attended by the youths chairperson Ntungamo district Ankwasa Phillip Tumuhimbise, and Katureebe Michael Omunyeeto.
