NEWS– The Prime Minister of Uganda Rt Hon Nabbanja Robinah has represented President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni together with Health committee of Parliament members led by Hon Ruyonga and Hon Nebanda Florence Andiru and many others at the closure of the National Dialogue on Health Financing for Uganda at Speke Resort Munyonyo.
The dialogue that started on 6th May 2025 took place under the theme, “Sustainable Health Financing Strategies for Universal Health Coverage and Resilient Health Systems in Uganda”.
The dialogue intended to identify challenges, key strategies for increased efficient and equitable financing for healthcare for all and to facilitate discussion and collaboration among stakeholders on policy implementation towards sustainable health financing.
The dialogue was organised by the Ministry of Health and partners, it emphasized the need for increased investment in health, better value for money, and equity in healthcare access.
