The Police in Rukungiri have registered a case of suspected murder and suicide in Rugando village in Nyakinengo Parish in Nyakagyeme Sub-county.
Kigezi Regional Police Spokesman Nelson Tumushime identified the deceased as 40 year old Tushabirane Cosma and 34 year old Ayebare Speria both resident of Rugando village in Nyakinengo.
Tumushime explained that it is alleged that two deceased sent their three children to church and when they returned, the children found all doors of their house closed from inside .
It is reported that the eldest child became suspicious and pushed the door hard to find their father hanged body swinging in the rope and the Police was notified and swiftly responded and upon the search, another body of his wife Ayebare was recovered in their bed room in a poll of blood.
Tumushime said that the Police conveyed the two bodies to Rwakabengo Health Centre III Mortuary pending postmortem examination as investigations continue to establish what exactly happened.

Meanwhile tge Police in Kabale District are currently investigating circumstances sorrounding a fire out break which left household properties worth millions of shillings damaged.
Tumushime disclosed that the fire breakout took place at Nyangande cell in Mwanjari Ward of Southern Division in Kabale Municipality.
Tumushime said that it is alleged that fire gutted one room and the fire spread to other areas and the Police Fire and Rescue Service responded and extingushed the fire before spreading to other houses and investigations have commenced.
