The Police in Rukungiri District are currently investigating circumstances sorrounding the death of a 59 year old man identified as Odongo David, a resident of Kasoroza cell in Kigaga Parish in Nyakagyeme Sub-county.
Kigezi Regional Police Spokesman Nelson Tumushime has confirmed the incident saying that it is alleged that the deceased was last seen heading to a nearby Trading Centre of Kasoroza, but never returned.
Tumushime explained that the deceased body was yesterday found inside his house lying helplessly and the Police responded to the scene and the dead body was conveyed to Rwakabengo Health Centre III Mortuary for postmortem examination report, before it was handed over to the relatives for burial.
The Police Spokesman has since called for who ever has information that can help in investigation to approach a Police nearby in confidence and pass on the information.
