RUKUNGIRI- The residents of Kigina in Bwanga Nyarushanje Rukungiri have praised former Rubabo constituency parliamentary candidate, Tushabomwe David Ndindirize for his vision to.develop the area through education and health.
This was sounded on Saturday when he was delivering his pledge of roofing a three classroom block at Kigina primary school.
David Ndindirize was represented by Wickson Muyambi alias Egundumani together with constituency cordinator Herbert Turyasingura.
Muyambi said that what Ndindirize has made in Rubabo when is not yet Member of Parliament doubles those done by some members of parliament.
“We are now here at Kigina and it’s not only these standard iron sheets but even the nails and labour for putting on these iron sheets are in hands of Ndindirize,” he said.
Muyambi said that he reggrets why he never supported Ndindirize for the past years as his vision for Rubabo and Rukungiri is very far.
He said Ndindirize has put his hands in every school in Rubabo either in construction or providing standard exams to schools.
“As if this is not enough he plans to train health workers in every village who will be giving first aid to patients in the village before referring them,” he said.
Muyambi said two fully fledged Japan made ambulances are in final stages of completion and come here to keep taking reffered patients to get services in refferal hospitals like Kabale, Mbarara and Mulago Kampala.
He urged residents to vote David Ndindirize come 2025 as NRM flag bearer and as Rubabo MP 2026 if they are not to reggrete as he is reggreting for not supporting him earlier.
Ivan Arinaitwe a lay reader at Kigina Church of Uganda who represented Archdeacon Bwanga said David Ndindirize is always simple to approach and once he promise anything must fullfil it unlike other ploticians who always promise air.
He thanked Ndindirize for serving people regardless of religious affiliation. He supports projects at catholic churches, Protestants, Muslims and Pentecostals provided the project has an element of development.
The head teacher Kigina ps Richard Akansasira said the iron sheets are for roofing the classrooms for nursery section who has been studying under the tree shade.
He said Nursery school is backbone of education which feeds main primary school and child start primary when he or she knows what to do.
