President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni yesterday met the former Member of the European Parliament, Stanley Johnson, who is an author also the father of former UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson.
Mr Johnson has been visiting a number of Uganda’s key tourist and conservation sites, including Mgahinga, Kyambura Gorge, the Kazinga Channel and the Source of the Nile in Jinja.
Ptesident Museveni said that he was pleased and appreciates the strong link between Uganda’s natural environment and tourism development.

The President and Mr Johnson discussed issues of mutual interest, particularly the importance of common markets and common environmental policies.
