Prime Minister Robinah Nabbanja

The Prime Minister Rt Hon Robinah Musafiri Nabbanja has made it categorically clear that when the implementation of government programmes is complemented by the financial institutions, the results are always transformative and spur growth. 

The Prime Minister remarks were contained in a speech read for her by the Minister of General Duties in the Office of the Prime Minister Hon Justine Kasule Lumumba at the closure of the Uganda Development Finance Summit at Speke Convention Centre in Munyonyo.

The summit was organized under the theme “Transforming Africa through National Development Finance Architecture” and the Minister said that farmers are linked to the markets while the women and youth become employers and the communities gain access to better services.

The Uganda Development Finance Summit 2025 was hosted by Uganda Development Bank it brought together key African and international finance players and facilitate dialogue between key stakeholders from the public and private sectors.

According to the Managing Director of  Uganda Development Bank and Chairperson of Association of African Development Finance Institutions Ms Patricia Ojangole, the Summit showcased some flagship projects and highlight the potential and prospects of Uganda development plans.
