NEWS- The Prime Minister of Uganda Rt. Hon. Nabbanja Robinah has arrived in Dubai for the World Governments summit that starts tomorrow.
The Premier is leading the Ugandan Delegation on behalf of President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni and on arrival at Dubai International Airport, Rt Hon Nabbanja was received by Uganda’s Ambassador to United Arab Emirates Ambassador Zaake Kibedi and other officials from the government among others.
The World Governments Summit 2025 which will take place from 11th ton13th February 2025 is being held under the theme ‘Shaping Future Governments.
The Summit has brought together governments, international organizations, thought leaders, and private sector leaders from around the globe to foster international cooperation and identify innovative solutions for future challenges, ultimately inspiring and empowering the next generation of governments.
The United Arab Emirates leaders have in the past 2 days welcomed the guests of the World Governments Summit 2025, which begins in Dubai tomorrow, with record-breaking international participation.
The three-day summit will bring together over 30 Heads of state, 140 government delegations, more than 80 international and regional organisations and over 6,000 global leaders and experts.
The President of United Arab Emirates His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan emphasized the UAE’s commitment to global cooperation, highlighting the importance of unity in tackling the world’s major challenges through joint action.
The Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, described the summit as a key platform for fostering global dialogue, stressing the importance of governments being proactive and adaptable in today’s rapidly changing world.
He noted that the summit provides an opportunity to shape the future through collective efforts and strategic international partnerships.
