NEWS– The prime suspect in the shooting of Ndiga clan leader Engineer Daniel Bbosa, Lujja Bbosa Tabula, has finally been arrested after being on the run since February.
He was apprehended by the Police Crime Intelligence squad in the Kimelika-Namulonge, Busikuma area.
Tabula is suspected of masterminding the murder of Daniel Bbosa, who was fatally shot on February 25, 2024, by assailants on a motorcycle heading to his home in Lunguja.
The police had earlier in March announced a Shs10 million cash bounty for information leading to Tabula’s arrest.
The arrest marks a significant breakthrough in the case, which has seen five other suspects arrested and arraigned in court in connection with the murder.
Among these include Lujja Noah, Harriet Nakiguli, Joseph Nakabale, Ezra Mayanja, and Milly Naluwenda.
