The Uganda Prisons Service Spokesman Frank Baine Mayanja has confirmed the death of two Prisons Officers and a civilian which took place today morning at Kiboga Prison in Kiboga District.
According to a statement released today, Baine who acted on behalf of the Commissioner General of Prisons, they regretted the incident that took place where three people were today morning shot dead.
Baine identified the deceased as Assistant Supretedant of Prisons Hope Catherine who is the Deputy in Charge of Kiboga District Prisons, Principal Officer Akishuri Bright who is the 3rd in Command and Ms Ayebare Sarah who is a civilian but the wife of the Officer in Charge of Kiboga District Prisons.

According to Baine, the incident took place today when Wader No 13544 Anguyo Moses who opened fire on his supervisors on yet to be explained reasons and fled the scene.
Baine said that although the gun used in the incident has been, the suspect remains at large, the suspect at large remains dangerous to the general public and any one with valuable information regarding his whereabouts should inform the nearest Police.
The forth victim is the child of the Officer in Charge who is still battling for her life in the hospital.
Baine explained that the Police was immediately called in and they secured the scene of the crime, but the joint security operations are currently pursuing the suspect to apprehend him and ascertain the motive of the shooting.
