Steel & Tube Industries Ltd has been recognised with two awards by the Uganda Manufacturers Association (UMA) at the 32nd Uganda International Trade Fair (UGITF) 2026. The company won Best Sector Exhibitor in Building, Construction and Housing Technology and received an Appreciation Award as InKind Partner of the 32nd UGITF 2026.
The Best Sector Exhibitor award recognises Steel & Tube’s showing in the Building, Construction and Housing Technology category at this year’s fair. The Appreciation Award acknowledges the company’s support as an in-kind partner of the 32nd edition.
Speaking about the fair, Regina Namuwonge, Director Operations at Steel & Tube Industries Ltd, said the principle for the ten days can be stated in one line. “You buy from the people who make and distribute the goods at the most affordable price,” she said. “Every offer, every discount, is priced for the Ugandans who consume.”
“A trade fair of this size is carried by many hands,” she added. “There are many players in this trade fair, and we thank the various ministerial bodies and agencies who support us behind it. With that, I would like to thank our partners and sponsors.”
