Uganda Prisons boss shakes up officers with transfers, fresh appointments

The Commissioner General of Prisons Canon Johnson Byabashaija has made key appointments, transfers and granted leave to officers as part of the ongoing efforts to professionalize the Uganda Prisons Service and improve service delivery.

Amongst the key appointments is Peter Nyangabyaki as a new OC for Rubirizi Prison, Geoffrey Bogere transferred from Rubirizi to Bushenyi among others.
