It should be recalled that in the 2024/25 national budget, State House sought an additional Shs30Bn for Presidential donations.

Immaculate Namara, Director of Planning at State House noted that the current presidential donations budget is just a drop in the ocean, compared to the current needs.

Bukaga county MP Stephen Kangwagye called on fellow MPs to back State House when it requests for more funds for the Presidential donation budget, saying such support will ensure that the President’s donation budget never runs dry.
